Today, Vitalik Buterin published a new blog post discussing the advantageous implications of Layer 2s (L2s) as cultural extensions of Ethereum.

• Accordingly, L2s spur healthy competition within the Ethereum community, and “there is a lot of value in trying to expand on these ideas,” Buterin concluded.
