Bankless knows airdrops.
Our analyst team is constantly tracking them, and each month, we send a list of crypto’s hottest airdrop opportunities directly to subscriber inboxes. Over 150 promising airdrop opportunities are available in the Airdrop Hunter, our comprehensive hub of airdrop alpha shared exclusively with Bankless Citizens!
Today, we’re recommending 5 must-hunt airdrops for the month of August 👇
🤖 Almanak
Almanak’s leading product, the “Autonomous Liquidity USD” vault, is a tokenized yield strategy on Ethereum that identifies opportunities and repositions capital to capture the highest available yields within customized risk parameters. The system features automated portfolio rebalancing and only executes transactions when yield improvements justify the associated costs.
Although additional features are whitelist-only at this time, Almanak enables some users to “vibecode” their own onchain autonomous vaults using the “Agentic Swarm” and offers secure wallet infrastructure built using Safe.
On July 14, Almanak announced a points program that will run until September 21. Users can receive points by depositing into Almanak vaults, referring others to the platform, deploying their own vaults, and holding funds in their Almanak wallet.
📈 Boros
Yield swapping protocol Pendle launched Boros last week, its long-awaited platform for the onchain trading of crypto interest rates. Deployed to the Arbitrum L2, Boros offers funding rate markets for Binance BTCUSDT and ETHUSDT.
Boros matches users who want to pay a fixed rate and receive the market rate with others who want to receive a fixed rate and pay the market rate until a specified future date. The platform can help traders hedge the costs of their positions or lock-in high funding rates as part of a basis trade.
Although Boros currently limits maximum leverage to 1.4x and only offers two distinct markets – limitations that make it difficult to profitably speculate or efficiently hedge – the protocol remains in the early stages of public access and will likely expand functionality as it matures.
Boros users receive PENDLE rewards for placing limit orders in yield markets or supplying liquidity to vaults. Additionally, although unconfirmed at this time, it is possible that early Boros users will receive a future airdrop of a new platform token.
⚔️ Katana
Katana, a DeFi blockchain incubated by Polygon, is an upcoming network that uses bridged funds to earn yield on Ethereum while simultaneously empowering users to deploy their capital to onchain opportunities available on the Katana network.
Katana uses network sequencer fees to feed its “chain-owned liquidity,” which distributes the yield earned through various Katana applications back to users to boost their own yields. Additionally, this liquidity enables application users to receive superior pricing and liquidity than they otherwise would.
Katana has rolled out a sweeping airdrop incentives program that will reward early chain users with 20% of the total KAT supply and 15% of the total KAT supply to Polygon POL stakers. Katana makes it easy for users to earn airdrop incentives on top of set-and-forget DeFi yields.
🖥️ Etherscan
The leading blockchain explorer for Ethereum, Etherscan has been empowering users to track transactions, verify smart contracts, and monitor wallet activity with unparalleled transparency since its launch in 2015.
An indispensable tool for developers, investors, and enthusiasts navigating the Ethereum ecosystem, Etherscan offers real-time data, user-friendly analytics, and robust API support, making complex blockchain information accessible to all.
On August 12, Etherscan released a points program that rewards users with celebratory 10th anniversary badges and points rewards. Although an Etherscan airdrop would certainly be an unexpected development and the official announcement swears off token talk, this possibility cannot be entirely discounted given the presence of a points program.
The first points program is exclusively for "OG" users and will run until August 31, but additional campaigns are expected to launch in the future.
👻 Phantom
Originally a Solana-only wallet, Phantom has expanded to support the Ethereum, Base, Sui, Polygon, and Bitcoin networks since its launch. This wallet offers a simplistic user interface and embodies Solana’s degen spirit, offering easy fiat onboarding and in-wallet swaps.
Just last month, Phantom introduced crypto perpetuals powered by Hyperliquid via its mobile wallet, a major move that allows users to seamlessly leverage trade crypto in just a few taps, with no need for separate dApp connections or wallet services.
While there is no strong precedent for wallets to airdrop tokens and Phantom has provided no indication that it will do so, Phantom’s push to integrate perpetuals products demonstrates a commitment to pushing crypto norms, one which could bode well for a wallet-native airdrop.

The Fraxtal ecosystem is expanding at lightning speed—this month’s biggest highlight is IQAI.com, the newest Agent Tokenization platform from IQ and Frax. IQ is building autonomous, intelligent, tokenized agents launching on Fraxtal in Q1. Empower on-chain agents with built-in wallets, tokenized ownership, and decentralized governance—all within a fast-growing Fraxtal ecosystem.

There's a lot happening on the Bankless Premium Feed.
We just added three (!!) new Premium Feed interviews today, one of which had Ethereum core developer Preston Van Loon taking us inside the next two hard forks, Fusaka and Glamsterdam.
We break down how Fusaka’s PeerDAS upgrade could 16x Ethereum’s data capacity without increasing validator storage, unlocking cheaper and faster Layer 2s. Then we explore Glamsterdam’s push for unstoppable settlement through EPBS and Fossil, enshrining proposer builder separation and strengthening censorship resistance. Preston also shares insights on shorter slot times, validator UX, and how community feedback shapes Ethereum’s roadmap.
