Monad is an EVM-compatible blockchain with an advertised 10k transactions per second. This L1 raised $225M from various top crypto venture firms – including Paradigm, Electric Capital, and Coinbase Ventures – last April with promises to supercharge the EVM through “optimistic parallel execution.”

The Monad public testnet opened on February 19, 2025, giving early users a chance to explore its high-performance capabilities and position for a future airdrop! Chronicle originated as a proprietary oracle solution for MakerDAO’s stablecoin in 2017. The protocol now serves DeFi and real-world asset pricing data to other applications beyond the Maker/Sky ecosystem.

Through its utilization of “Schnorr Signature cryptography,” Chronicle offers near-constant gas pricing for oracle updates, regardless of how many validators are involved, providing greater cost consistency for applications that depend on this key infrastructure protocol.

By supplying USDS to sky.money on Ethereum, users can receive the Sky Savings rate (6.5% at the time of this analysis) and earn supplementary Chronicle points!

🏮 Infrared Finance

Infrared is focusing on improving the infrastructure around Berachain's PoL mechanism through node infrastructure, vaults, and a liquid staking solution for the BGT and Bera tokens. Users can earn iBGT through Infrared’s vaults by staking certain LP tokens to earn emissions from validators in the form of iBGT.

While Infrared hasn't officially announced an airdrop, users have earned Infrared points by contributing to its Boyco market. Additionally, the Infrared DAO’s GitHub repo outlines how users could earn points through certain actions, like holding specific tokens on Berachain testnet.

🍃 Ethereal

Ethereal is a decentralized exchange built on the Ethena Network that leverages USDe as native collateral. First proposed in September 2024, Ethereal aims to combine the performance of centralized exchanges with the self-custody and transparency benefits of decentralized finance.

In February, Ethereal began accepting deposits and launched a "Season Zero" points program. Users who deposit Ethena's synthetic dollar stablecoin (USDe) liquid eUSDe deposit receipts and pre-deposit points, in addition to maximum 30x Ethena points rewards.

Funds deposited into Ethereal can be withdrawn at any time, and the Season Zero airdrop is expected to be distributed at application mainnet in May 2025.

🌾 Silo Finance

Silo Finance is a lending and borrowing protocol deployed to Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base that recently launched a V2 iteration to the Sonic network. Silo V2 introduced customizable market parameters and a “hooks” architecture.

The recently introduced Silo points program gives Sonic V2 users 1 point per dollar lent per day and 0.5 points per dollar borrowed per day. Specific markets include points multipliers, and Silo points can be redeemed for $S based on Silo’s share of Sonic Gems at a future date.
