Robinhood has launched the public testnet for Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum and designed for tokenized real-world assets and financial services.

What's the Scoop?

  • What's Available: Developers can access network entry points, documentation at docs.chain.robinhood.com, compatibility with standard Ethereum development tools, and early infrastructure support from ecosystem partners.
  • Coming Soon: In the coming months, developers will gain access to testnet-only assets including Stock Tokens for integration testing, direct testing with Robinhood Wallet, and a familiar developer environment on Ethereum and Arbitrum.
  • Design Focus: The chain was built for 24/7 trading, seamless bridging, and self-custody, with scalability for tokenized asset platforms, lending platforms, and perpetual futures exchanges.
