We've never seen a fully onchain game reach these sorts of activity levels before, but such growing pains are good pains to have. They show Pirate Nation is onto something here and that people will flock to an onchain game if it's good.
Also, how Pirate Nation navigates its infra challenges now may set a blueprint for how other onchain games tackle these challenges going forward. In the meantime, diving into Season 2 when and where you can is a chance for racking up fun and rewards. Don't sleep on it!
