Have you heard about Shape?

It's a new Ethereum Layer 2 network crafted specifically for creatives by the minds behind the Deca NFT curation platform.

Set to launch its mainnet on September 30th, Shape aims to win over creators with its unique Gasback program, which will allow smart contract owners to claim 80% of the L2 sequencer fees made via their contracts.

Let's dive in a bit deeper and talk about how you can try the Shape testnet today ahead of the mainnet launch! 👇

TOOL TIP
Party Packs

Party continues to cook.

Last month, I highlighted the new Party Sets launcher, which lets creators easily release mixed-rarity NFT collections.

Now, the Party team just released an expanded riff on the Sets format, Packs, that aims to bring the excitement of opening a fresh pack of trading cards to NFTs.

This new system lets collectors randomly mint NFTs from a collection, where each Pack reveals 3 NFTs instantly upon minting. Creators can upload up to 25 images for their collection on Base, sorting them into different rarities—Common, Rare, and Epic.

If you want to see Packs in action, check out For the Culture, a series of MacPaint portaits by sgt_slaughtermelon that's minting for the next couple of days on Party, or dive in and try releasing your own Pack!
