Onchain gacha platforms, where collectors buy digital pulls tied to real, vaulted trading cards, notched their fourth consecutive record month in June 2026, processing more than $324M in spends, up 34% from May.

What's the Scoop?

  • The leaderboard: Collector Crypt alone accounted for over $209M of June's total gacha spending, almost double every other platform combined, with Courtyard and Phygitals coming in 2nd and 3rd place. Notably, five of the eight platforms tracked in AJC's tweet above posted individual monthly ATHs, including Beezie and Monster.
  • The catalyst: PSA's grading backlog topped 10 million cards this spring, and the company's pause on select submission tiers last month has thinned the flow of freshly certified cards, funneling buyers toward what's already tokenized. Plus, the instant buyback guarantees of onchain gacha platforms have made users increasingly willing to dive in.
  • Zooming out: The broader gacha growth trend and Collector Crypt's dominance ratio in this vertical are threads to watch. Gacha spending has roughly doubled since March, making tokenized collectibles one of the rare crypto consumer categories growing on real demand right now.
