Unichain is on the way. The new L2, a Superchain network slated to launch in November 2024, is being built to become a new major center for DeFi in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Yet Unichain isn’t being designed as an appchain focused exclusively on the trading vertical. Instead, it will serve as a general-purpose rollup that will be wide open for other apps to deploy on.

This new resource makes it easy to discover which onchain apps are trending across nearly 20 chains and over 15 categories, including art, gaming, social, trading, etc.
Plus, when you click into a trending app, you get a bird’s-eye view of its recent activity levels and transaction details, so you can get a quick sense of what people are actually doing and the things they’re moving around onchain.
The release builds on Zapper’s recent recommendation engine work, which they’re fine-tuning all the while, so it’s a good time to get acquainted with the platform as its discovery capabilities are set to get even better with time!
