Hunt for New Memecoins with Photon

1) Generate a Photon trading wallet

Navigate to photon.tinyastro.io and click on the networks button at the top right of the page. Here, you can choose which chain you want to focus on, e.g., Ethereum, Solana, or Base. 

Once you’ve clicked into your network of choice, press “Connect Wallet” on the ensuing page, and after signing in, press the “Generate” button. Confirm your new Photon trading wallet details, and then drag the slider button to reveal the private key. This will be your only chance to save this key, so store it somewhere safe offline to proceed. 

2) Deposit funds

After you’ve generated a Photon wallet, you’ll need to deposit funds into that wallet to start trading. Copy your wallet’s provided address and then use your main wallet to transfer crypto in, e.g., ETH on Ethereum or Base or SOL on Solana, depending on which chain you set up with. Once your money has landed, you can press the “Start Trading” button to begin. 

3) Navigate Photon’s features

With everything prepped, you’ll be ready to start diving into Photon’s features. While the project’s Solana platform offers the most tools, all chains supported by Photon offer a streamlined experience for trading and coin discovery. 

In your main profile “Settings,” you can begin by customizing your trading preferences. For instance, here you can define your Slippage (how much price fluctuation you’re willing to tolerate in your trades), Priority Fee (sent to validators for faster transactions), and Bribery Amount (an extra sum sent to validators for even faster transactions). 

Beyond these core settings, Photon’s other main offerings are as follows: 

• 🆕 New Pairs — This page brings you real-time data on tokens that were launched within the past 24 hours, with various filters you can use to hone your analyses. 
• 🛒 Quick Buy — Toggle this button on if you want to activate instant buys whenever you click a token’s “Quick Buy” button. This can help you act quickly when new coins become available. 

• 📈 Trending — This page highlights the top 100 token pairs based on recent trading activity, with adjustable timeframes to better discern what’s currently hot in the market. 
• 👛 Holdings — Access this page for a quick overview of all the tokens you’ve bought and sold with your Photon account, with fields provided for your balances, amount invested, and profit/loss calculations. 
• 💰 My Orders — Currently a Solana-only offering, the “Orders” page can be used to easily monitor your automated buy and sell orders based on target prices, as well as your DCA (dollar cost averaging) orders for tokens you’re gradually buying or selling over time. 
• 🔭 Memescope — Another Solana-only offering, the Memescope surfaces brand new coins, as well as projects that have graduated or are about to graduate from memecoin platforms like Pump.fun and Moonshot. Customizable filters make it easy to hone in on specific metrics that you’re interested in here. 

4) Stack Photon points
