Dear Bankless Nation,

U.S. congressional leaders debating Ethereum. Mainstream media outlets breathlessly covering this week’s OpenSea news. NFT drops becoming a regular occasion at Christie’s.

These are the times we find ourselves in.

We’re not the “David” in the David vs. Goliath equation anymore. We’re more like an as yet unknown, unprecedented, and ultra-creative chess superstar being underestimated by a tournament of uninspired grandmasters.

Well, that’s at least one way to put it — can chess virtuoso and Byte-Sized Ethereum host Alexandra Botez double check my analogy on that? 😄

Anyways, my grand point is that as NFT builders and Web3 dreamers our cue has arrived. What we do together and with each other in these times will echo through this century and beyond, I really believe that.

Of course, many of us already do believe that. It’s the rest of the world that in many ways is still far behind and playing catch-up to what we’re doing here. So game faces then, ladies and gentlemen. This grand early tournament is just getting started,
