Ethereum Foundation Launches Website Dedicated to Post-Quantum Security

Several teams at the EF have collaborated to launch a dedicated resource portal for Ethereum's post-quantum security effort.

Today, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) launched a new website, which is intended serve as a dedicated resource hub for Ethereum's post-quantum security ambitions.

What's the Scoop?

  • PQ Portal: The Post-Quantum Ethereum webpage (https://pq.ethereum.org) is a comprehensive repository of post-quantum (PQ) information pertaining to Ethereum, the product of 8+ years of research from the EF's Protocol Architecture and Protocol Coordination teams. This website includes:
    • Information on how PQ impacts each protocol layer;
    • The full PQ roadmap (http://strawmap.org);
    • Open-source resources for post-quantum development;
    • An FAQ section written to address introductory PQ questions;
    • A 6-part lean Ethereum interview series; and
    • Interest forms for the 2nd Annual PQ Research Retreat
  • Collaborative Effort: According to Ethereum Foundation, more than 10 client teams are already building and shipping devnets weekly through PQ Interop.
