The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is launching a fellowship-style grants program to support Ethereum-related academic work led by current PhD students.

What's the Scoop?

  • New Program: The EF's new fellowship-style program will award $24k grants to eligible PhD students for Ethereum-related academic that expands the frontier of Ethereum-related academic research. While open to all disciplines, the program will focus its grant awards toward economics, political science, business, public policy, computer science, urban planning, and sociology PhD applicants.
  • Application Deadline: Between 9 to 10 applicants will receive $24k grants paid by the the EF over one year to subsidize their existing graduate program stipends. Proposals are due on April 1 at 23:59 UTC, and applicants must be actively enrolled in a PhD Program from a university or academic institute.
