Crypto exchange Crypto.com is launching a proprietary prediction market platform called "OG" just days ahead of Super Bowl LX – an internationally televised American football extravaganza that is slated for a record-setting $1.76B of betting volumes.

What's the Scoop?

  • New Prediction Market: Crypto.com just unveiled OG.com, a new prediction market experience that promises to combine consumer app convince, social media-style engagement, and the rigor of an institutional-grade platform to provide fans "access to a most comprehensive range of CFTC-regulated sports event contracts as well as additional event contracts across financial, political, cultural, and entertainment events."
  • Leveraged Markets: OG will empower uses to trade the likelihood of real-world events with margined prediction markets, offering access to leverage that can boost potential prediction market profits. Crypto.com claims OG will be the first federally regulated prediction markets platform to offer margin trading.
  • Bonus Rewards: The first one million users to sign up with OG will receive up to $500 in rewards.
