$BASED Lives
  1. 🔵 $BASED is now claimable. The new Base memecoin, which I wrote about last month, is finally claimable for anyone who previously redeemed their "Base Introduced" NFTs on the project's website.
  2. 🪙 Forgotten Runes Royalties. The popular PFP collection and fantasy franchise just distributed royalties payments to NFT holders of the characters that were featured in the project's first comic book release.
  3. 📱 Welcome to Rodeo. The new, previously invite-only Farcaster client focused on streamlined NFT sharing and collecting is now open to all users of Farcaster.

BULLISH OR BEARISH
Loot (for Adventurers)
Bankless Author: William M. Peaster

Loot took the NFT ecosystem by storm when it first launched.

At the time, the last NFT bull run was raging, the CC0 meta was ramping up, and dom—the creator of Vine and current leader of Sup—was in the midst of an incredible creative streak, having played a key role in launching groundbreaking onchain projects like Blitmap and Nouns.

Against this backdrop, dom unveiled Loot on Twitter on August 27th, 2021. The 8,000 NFT loot bags centered around “randomized adventurer gear generated and stored onchain.”

Today, the floor price of Loot is certainly a far cry from the collection's former peak. But can these NFTs enjoy a second wind as historical digital collectibles?

Let's see why I'm long-term bullish! 👇

Bankless Author: David C.

There is a growing number of avant-garde artists, particularly those using AI, who are employing NFTs as either a means of distribution or as a method for merging their digital and physical works.

That said, who should you be watching here right now?

To answer that, my colleague David C. has compiled a list of five artists who are leading the charge in this arena, demonstrating how blockchains can be used by auteurs to make and connect creative experiences online and offline.

Let's explore these artists and their creations! 👇
